Heeeeeeeyyy!

It's Dykie! Wanted to give a shout out to all my blogger's! I finally caved in and thought I would give this a shot. Like Julia, don't expect correct grammar, spelling, punctuation because English was never my forte. Well, school period was never a forte of mine. As long as you can look past my 5th grade English... it's cool with me!

Christmas was filled with joy, love, hate, frustration and BUSY! Unfortunately, I had to work Christmas eve, Christmas and the day after. I did get to participate in all my family functions though but was exhausted throughout the celebrations. Overall though, I had a good Christmas! You could say my "it" gift this year was a digital camera (won't lose this one), and two guess purses! Why do girls get off on purses? I was so excited..... I felt like some diva!

I thought I would bring up the "not so it" presents. Don't you hate when you open a gift and you're unsure if you should laugh because it's so ridiculous, or give it back because you hate it so much. Well.... Colby and I BOTH got the pleasure of going through that this year. I got this little "doll" that I'm SURE my mom found at goodwill and thought that it would be so cute to give to me! Now what on earth am I going to do with this homemade nurse doll? It's not cute, it's actually quite tacky. BUT me being the nice daughter I am said, "it's cute mom, thanks!"

For 5 years now, I've always enjoyed when Colby went to his dad's house for Christmas because he always gets something he hates every year. This year he got HIGH socks(which he hates and I believe he still has the same ones from last year still in the bag), hot sauce and little things here and there. He also came home with an aquarium!! HA HA HA. This isn't just any old aquarium. This aquarium plugs in and lights up, while the fish move as if they were swimming! I can just imagine his face when he opened that gift up! I think our local goodwill will see us soon with bearing gifts! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Can't wait to see everyone for New Years!!!! Peace!
